Seismic response of multi-support structures with local soil amplification
A numerical sensitivity study of the local site effects on structural response has been carried out. Following Der Kiureghian's model of spatial coherency & a concept of simple site coefficient, the local site effects are modeled as filtrations of excitation processes with frequency shift (see Fig.1). An analysis of a bridge response with supports founded on different soils is carried out (see Fig.2).
